Bringing Family Together

Annual Conference

Encouraging and Equipping

The churches of the MBA can do more together than they can apart. With skilled speakers and facilitators from outside AND from within our churches the annual conference is a great opportunity to not only learn to but learn from each other.

Not only is the conference a time to gather and learn, but its also an opportunity for encouraging each other and celebrating the things God has been doing in our province.

Keep an eye out here at mbbaptist.org for details of the next conference soon!

Empowering Leaders

Pastoral Support

Ministerial and Connection

Church leadership is a uniquely challenging calling. Often it can feel isolating and frequently it presents situations that can be difficult to navigate or even understand for people outside of church leadership.

To help our pastors thrive and navigate these challenges the MBA is committed to pastoral support in many forms.

Ministerial is the term given to the community of pastors in Manitoba that meet regularly to support, encourage and challenge each other.

In addition to the peer group that is the Ministerial, the MBA also is overseen and supported by a Regional Minister who works to make sure Pastors have a place to turn when needed.

Finally the MBA provides guidance and support to churches so that Pastors properly are compensated, educated and spiritually and emotionally cared for.

If you are a church or pastor looking for more information about what membership in MBA looks like, first read our statement of faith and then feel free to contact us.

Pastoral Retreat

As part of the Manitoba Baptist Association’s commitment to pastoral support, The MBA hosts an annual pastoral retreat. The MBA seeks to promote healthy work/life balance, empower and equip its pastors and facilitate the sharing of knowledge.
